In this workshop you will learn how to take an idea in an Agile way of working from its conception, to business case, to project initiation, project setup and then on to delivery.

You will also learn how to handle production support and enhancements in an Agile way and when to use Kanban and when not to.

All this will be done agaist a backdrop of the history of Agile from the Pharaohs to today.

The Agile PMO, the role of the PM, the setup of a project for success and how to link multiple streams into one large program of work in an Agile world. These are some of the issues that will be covered in this workshop, in an interactive and dynamic set of exercises.

    Hi Phil

I am not sure if you are trying to cover too many thing here. Do you see a risk of losing the focus? Do you have any thoughts to pick fewer themes and focus on them.

    Pls advise.

    Thanks - Sachin

      Hi Sachin

The prupose is to give a complete high level overview of the end to end process from idea to decommissioning and how this works in a fully Agile environment.

I try not to go down to too low level of detail but provide the end-to-end view. I have run this many times before and it has worked as I do set the expectation up front.

      I cover the following areas:

      - Ideation

      - Concept business case

      - Project Initation

      - Project Delivery

      - Maintenance and support

90 minutes is not a long time to get into details but I have noticed that not many give this high level overiew of the whole process.

I was is two minds whether to do this as a workshop or as a talk with case studies.

More than happy to be guided here based on the number of people expected

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for the submission. Have you ran this workshop before?  If so, can provide any links or context.  How are the exercises ran?  Groups, individual, pairs - handouts, written, presentation to the group, etc.

    Thanks much,
