Every organisation has a myth that if they have a shorter release cycle they are agile. And most of the time they don’t even follow basic agile principles.

My presentation will cover how actually an agile world works. How software is delivered in quick releases along with following agile principles like Continuous Integration, Dev box testing, client showcase, etc.

It would demonstrate life cycle of an agile project and what are the practices to be folllowed on day to day basis to deliver a quality software in shorter release cycle.

Outline/Structure of the Talk

Presentation would start with the objective and key takeaways from the session and continue with what are the common agile practices involved in day to day basis on a project. Finally would map back to the key take aways.

Will cover real time examples and case study of one my projects which have around 150 people working in 2 different locations (Bangalore and London) and yet follows continous build and integration, dev box testing, remote stand ups and remote pairing if needed and release the software every 6 weeks with high quality.

Learning Outcome

1.  Get early feedback and fail fast.

2.  Easily Adapt to new requirements and give your clients agility.

3. Improve Quality of the product yet deliver fast.

A quality software which is delivered at a faster and regular releases and is easy to incorporate changes and keeps the team happy and customers satisfied, determines the success of agile.

    Hi Tabassum,

I see in the case study that you start with the Business Analysis and the role of a Business Analyst which sounds interesting to me. However, much of the presentation dwells into Agile 101. Could you just focus on the role of a Business Analyst and condence the session to 20 min experience report articulating key things that had positive impact. You may also want to consider an appropriate title.
