What is a true DevOps Transformation?- A Case Study

This case study will provide an insightful journey into a DevOps Transformation initiative. Aiming to be an empirical inquiry it would share results from a case study analysis :

  • investigating the problem statement,
  • examining alternative solutions on the path of DevOps transformation,
  • proposing the most effective solution
  • analyzing the observations and
  • sharing the outcomes with evidence.

It would share empirical data backing up the practices to adopt and those to avoid. The session will focus on changes that are necessary to rapidly build, deploy and maintain systems with high performance and availability.

Thanks for the submission, Monica :)

Just a thought. With different interpretations of the meaning of the word 'DevOps' floating in the community, would it also be useful to set the context with what you think is 'DevOps'?  This will help the audience to create a shared understanding of your talk's context.

Surely, Vivek, context setting of the term "DevOps"  will help establish a consistent understanding and would be covered in the session.

Trying to understand how this session is different from your other proposal - DevOps eats culture for breakfast - other than the difference in the duration.

This is a case study format, proposed in response to your comment on other the proposal DevOps eats culture for breakfast -.

The other difference is while this proposal focusses on the all the factors enabling DevOps transformation, the other proposal while focusing on various factors lays emphasis on cultural aspects.
