Change is tough! Big changes are tougher!

As people initiating change as well as people experiencing change, there are some attitudes and stances that will help us ride the wave of change rather than falter and drown.

Some of these, amongst others, that have helped us immensely in our experiences are The Principle of Heliotropism and Ubuntu!

We would love to share our experiences so other can learn from our failures, successes and more.

    Vinaya, Carol - we need more details on the contents that you plan to cover. The slidedeck you referred to points to another some other topic....can you help with a strawman of the deck ASAP?

      We plan to cover the following:

      • The effect of change management on change agents / drivers of change
      • What kind of stances change agents can adopt in order to deal with (the driving of) change
      • The Principle of Heliotropism and our experiences and experiments with it
        • Being able to see the positive side
        • Celebrating Small successes
        • Making Heliotropism clear and visible (through boards, activities etc)
      • Ubuntu and why we love it - experiences and experiments
        • Change agents, coaches etc - working as individual contributors rather than as a team
        • Change agents and unhealthy competition amongst them
        • How we can win together (and how we only win when we win together) - Ubuntu
        • How did we operationalize this idea - pair coaching, transparency, kanban board for change agents/coaches etc
      • More ideas we love and are experimenting with
