Becoming a leader that others want to follow is more than process and the agile mindset. Instead, it is applying our best selves consistently and sacrificially in service of our teams as we lead them in fulfilling the mission.

During this session, Eric will illustrate how effectively shepherding our teams produces remarkable results. The presentation centers on elements of servant leadership that include distinct and interdependent parts such as: leading yourself, engaging teams effectively, helping teams connect with us, creating safety, and effective leadership. The presentation is a mix of slides and video that engages the participants to think about how they can grow in becoming a better leader.

      Shane and team,

      Thank you for your question.

My presentation works well as workshop which could be done as it was originally designed as 7 separate sessions.   For this conference, my intention is for it to focus on what matters most; inviting attendees to becoming the leader their team mates and leadership have been waiting for through providing practical, authentic ways of leading that make sense and people respect.

      Ways I engage the audience:

      • Call and response
      • Guide sheet provide online or physical for attendees
      • Short videos
      • Questions to the audience with some short responses
      • Some physical movement

40 minutes is not a lot of time, but can be impactful, fun and thought provoking as I leave them with a call to action encouraging them to become the leader others are waiting to follow.

I can provide you a pdf of some of the slides I have used.   I tailor my presentation to the time allotted and audience, but it will give you an idea of what to expect.  If you provide me a location of where to upload the pdf I would be happy to provide the sample.

      Sincerely,

      Eric
