Retrospective on an Agile Summer Internship Hackathon

Can a dozen high school graduates with no experience in agile be able to learn agile and produce a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform over the course of a summer?

Yes!  Starting with a dozen high school graduates from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, we introduced them to agile development and coached them through the process of standing up a completely functional web application platform using Lean Startup and Agile development methodologies.

We will discuss lessons learned for introducing teams to agile and getting them up to speed over a very short period of time so they can become productive as fast as possible.
