All of us teach and preach about feedback in our daily lives as an effective way to learn and grow. I do my part on feedback too very diligently. But as always I have an uncomfortable tingling anxiety when I hear ‘feedback’. Inspired by the experiments run by Jia Jiang on '100 days of rejection' I decided to experiment with feedback. This is talk about my journey of experimenting with feedback through 25 experiments in seeking feedback for myself and my work in various settings like my training sessions , from my team mates (360 degree) ,my job interviews and even at home with my family. I will share my top 5 experiments ad my learning from it and also the top 5 techniques
that I found useful in receiving feedback and how this changed my approach towards giving feedback. Feedback is a progression and I navigated and still navigating through the phases of Shu - Ha - Ri for feedback.

      The word “Mindset” has become a very common vocabulary both at the workplace and in our personal space. What does it really mean and does possessing one create impact? Being from an academically grade driven background, this was new to me as I am trained to perceive that certain things cannot be changed or learned and really depends on talent or innate skill. Each time when I face a situation to try something new, there will be a big tussle going on inside my head and many a time I have succumbed and gave up. But that curiosity of how it would be possible to change mindset was always intriguing. So, I started exploring this more and came across Carol Dweck’s research on growth mindset. Being an ardent science person, I was also amazed to know about neuroplasticity which gives the ability of the brain to restructure itself based on repetitive practices. I was thrilled and started experimenting mindfully. This talk is about my experience on how I started trying to adopt a growth mindset in my personal as well as professional life and how it had changed my learning approach to anything that I encounter. I will share my 10 experiments and how I measured my mindset change with techniques that might be useful to you too. I would also be sharing insights on the neuroscience of how our brain responds to the mindset we possess, and you would be surprised to know them.
