We are super excited to announce the 18th edition of Agile India, Asia's Largest and Premier International Conference on Leading Edge Software Development Methods. Agile India is organized by Agile Software Community of India, a non-profit registered society founded in 2004 with a vision to evangelize new, better ways of building products & services that delight the users.
Over the last 18 years, we've organized 60 conferences across 13 cities in India. We've hosted 1,200+ speakers from 38 countries, who have delivered 1,400+ sessions to 13,000+ attendees. We continue to be a non-profit, volunteer-run community conference.
Themes:
- Agile Mindset
- Happy teams deliver products that delight customers. The agile mindset is a pathway to individual and team engagement that enables real high performance. The agile mindset instantiates the values from the agile manifesto and is about helping individuals, teams and organisations thrive through continuous learning, inspecting and adapting, collaboration, engagement and the pursuit of excellence.
- Join us to hear real-world stories of how teams are driving:
- Inclusiveness and diversity as a trigger for innovation
- Growth mindset over entrenched beliefs
- Team collaboration over hierarchy
- Co-creation over design by decree
- Craftsmanship in all aspects of work over standardization
- Chaos Engineering
- Chaos Engineering is the discipline of experimenting on a production system in order to build confidence in the system's capability to withstand turbulent conditions. We will cover important topics like Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, InfraOps Agility and so on. We hope these sessions will inspire you to evaluate your System Architecture so it can thrive under unexpected conditions.
- Join us to hear real-world stories on how organizations are building infinitely scalable and resilient systems that are disrupting the market. Learn how they are Architecting these systems to deal with Chaos, Complexity, and Resiliency.
- Cloud-Native
- Cloud-native is an approach to building and running applications that fully exploit the advantages of the cloud computing delivery model. When we build and operate applications using a cloud-native architecture, we design loosely coupled microservices and micro-frontend, which are containerized and use an orchestration platform to achieve elasticity, auto-scaling, auto-healing and observability.
- Join us to hear how organisations are using these techniques to allow them to bring new ideas to market faster, respond sooner to customer demands and bring down the total operating cost.
- Customer Obsession
- Customer Obsession is about delivering compelling products and services that customers love. It requires us to consistently pay attention to customers and end-users to enhance and improve their overall experience.
- Join us to learn how organisations are achieving this by using:
- Design thinking approach to understand customer's needs
- Define business goals in terms of outcomes – measurable changes in customer behaviour
- Use hypothesis-driven development to make decisions and create a Data culture
- Provide solutions that exceed customer's expectations
- Design Innovation
- Design Innovation is about applying various human-centred design process and techniques to real-world challenges by exploring the world around you. It is not just about coming up with new ideas and products – it is about seeing the world as it could be.
- Join us to learn how organisations are
- Engaging with end-users
- Effectively framing problems hypothesis
- Identifying potential solutions
- Testing their assumptions rapidly to learn what works (and doesn't)
- Discovering new market opportunities
- Experimenting to validate concepts and mitigate risk
- Delivering value to all stakeholders to achieve growth and differentiation
- DevEx and DevOps
- Developer Experience (DevEx) and DevOps, both are focused on streamlining your engineering practices to remove friction and speed up your end-to-end delivery process (Concept to Cash.) This track will focus on emergent practices and tools inspired by eXtreme Programming that ensures high-quality features are consistently delivered at lightning speed.
- Join us to hear real-world stories from the best teams on how they have combined innovations in technology, process, and culture to keep the entire engineering team happy while consistently shipping clean-code in a collaborative and disciplined manner to continuously deliver delightful products and services to the business.
- Digital Disruption
- Digital disruption is an effect that changes the fundamental expectations/behaviours in a culture, market, industry or process that is caused by, or expressed through, digital capabilities, channels or assets. It is a transformation that is caused by emerging digital technologies and business models. These innovative new technologies and models can impact the value of existing products and services offered in the industry.
- Join us to hear real-world war stories of how teams are working smarter by reduce costs and accelerating innovation using digital and transforming the world around us.
- Productivity and Personal Growth
- Productivity and Personal Growth is about creating a work environment that is conducive to creativity, learning and leadership. These are important skills, tools and techniques for individuals to be efficient and effective.
- Join us to hear how teams are:
- Using automation to make day to day operations efficient
- How do you care for yourself, for others and for the planet
- Leveraging various tools, techniques and resources to learn new skills and grow
- Learning soft skills, which help individuals to be more collaborative and productive
- Implementing systems that encourage a culture of innovation
- Quality Acceleration
- Quality Acceleration is about building quality into your engineering process in order to achieve the high-speed delivery needs of today's applications.
- Join us to hear about various quality engineering practices that enable teams to
- Validate the quality of the business/user needs
- Shift-left and automate their testing to get faster feedback
- Use production data and analytics to improve the effectiveness of tests
- Create ephemeral, on-demand test environments
- Move away from inspection based approach to mistake-proofing approach for quality control
- Achieve continuous testing as part of their CI/CD pipelines
- Ethics in Agile
- The software industry has a huge impact on society, our products pervade every aspect of peoples lives.
- How do we make sure that what we build improves the world, and more than just avoiding harm how do we actively do good.
- What does ethical behaviour look like and how do we influence our teams and organisations to be more ethical?
- Agile for Good
- “We wanted flying cars. Instead we got 140 characters” Peter Thiel
The reality is technology is making a big difference in the world. Where are the inspirational products and organisations who are making our lives and the world better? - What are the practices and approaches that inspire people to want to apply their skills and knowledge for the advancement of society?
- “We wanted flying cars. Instead we got 140 characters” Peter Thiel
- Sustainability
- Information technology has the same carbon footprint as aviation, our impact on the planet is increasing and causing harm. What can the software engineer do to reduce the harm and reduce the costs of running our systems.
