1. What got you started/interested in modern software development methods?

I started my professional career 15 years ago, I have worked in diverse industries,  in different geographies and organisations of various scales from start-ups to big corporates. When I started my career I was working for projects following pure waterfall ways of working- where I had gathered requirements as Business analyst for more than a year. I have seen companies transition from Waterfall to Agile , and helped a few organisations with this transition as well as a consultant. I have always found such agile transformation programmes very exciting and challenging.

2. What do you think is the biggest challenge faced by the software product engineering community today?

Biggest challenge for the software engineering community is usually the lack of freedom and support from the leadership

3. What do you think are the most exciting developments in software product engineering today?

The industry is changing so fast with new languages , tech stacks , cloud components services coming up making it very exciting to work in!

4. Why did you choose the topic(s) you will be speaking about at the conference?

I am going to be speaking about building your personal brand the agile way. This is an amalgamation of 2 topics that I am very passionate about. Building one's personal brand , I believe , is as important as up skilling or going on a leadership training. And doing it the agile way is key since that would help one to " learn and change course very fast"
