Team Formation (Self-Selection) – A real life experiment (Making cross functional, self-organized, long-lived scrum teams)

It is proved that motivated & happy employees produce better & faster results for the benefit of organization. At the same time it is difficult for leaders to continuously motivate people.

Team Formation (Self-selection) is an exercise in which every employee (team member) chooses which team they want to work for, with whom they want to work for.

I have implemented this recently with one program where 4 scrum teams are supposed to get formed. I will share the way we have approached it & the experience from it.
