Submission guideline

Please submit your proposals for JJUG CCC 2020 Fall.
JJUG CCC 2020 Fall will be held on Nov 7th(Sat), 2020.
It will be held online by video and live streaming.
You need to submit the session video you recorded beforehand.

Broadcast formats and session time

Your session will be organized by the video streaming section and live streaming section.
In principle, you should join the live streaming from home.
We consider the time zone when deciding the session time, so please do LIVE streaming.

The total session time is 50 minutes. Please perform live for at least 10 minutes before the end.
Therefore, you have to create up to 40 minutes of the session video.
In live streaming, please supplement the video session or have Q&A.

Content

Sessions should be targeted at Java community members. Of course, the topic can be related to Java, but other topics are welcome if community members seem to be interested.

Presentation Type

Please choose “Standard”.
**"BeginnerSpeaker" and “StepUp” should be held in Japanese.**

Level

Set a level based on the following definition.

- Beginner: No prior knowledge about the session topic is necessary.　Introductory explanations should be enough contained.
- Intermediate: The basic knowledge about the session topic are necessary. Applied contents should be contained.
- Advanced: The whole session should be constituted of advanced and applied contents.

Session Description

Please describe your session in detail. 
You can use "Presentation Requirements" field as well if you would like to hide the session detail for attendees.
During the session, it is prohibited to advertise your products or recruit excessively (Only sponsors are allowed to do such things).  
If you apply multiple sessions, please enter how many sessions you can have in the "Presentation Requirements" field.

Contact

If you are chosen as a speaker, we ask you to join a Slack channel for speakers.

**After submission completed a confirmation e-mail will be sent. Unless you receive the e-mail your submission might be failed. It is due to session timeout.**

応募要項（日本語）

2020年11月7日(土)に行われるJJUG CCC 2020 Fallのセッション案を募集します。
今回はビデオおよびライブストリーミングによるオンライン開催になります。
セッションが採択された場合、事前に録画したセッション動画を提出していただきます。

なお、Proposalの入力は日本語でかまいません。

放送形式およびセッション時間

セッションは、ビデオストリーミングとライブ出演の組み合わせになります。
ライブ出演は原則として自宅から行なっていただきます。

セッション時間は合計50分で、そのうち終了前の最低10分間はライブで出演していただきます。
したがって、提出するビデオは最長40分でお願いします。
ライブ出演では、チャットからのQ&Aやビデオセッションの補足を行なってください。

内容

セッションは "Javaコミュニティ向け" の内容としてください。Javaに関する内容はもちろん、Javaに直接は関係ない内容であっても、コミュニティの興味が強いセッションを採択したいと考えています。

Presentation Type（セッション種別）

セッション種別は次のように定めております。応募時の参考にしてください。

- Standard（一般枠）
    - (JJUGのイベントに限らず) 3回以上の登壇経験のある方向け
- BeginnerSpeaker（初心者枠）
    - 発表経験が少ない方向け
- StepUp（ステップアップセッション）
    - 後述する「ステップアップセッションについて」を参照

Level（難易度）

難易度は、セッションを理解するにあたり必要となる事前知識や理解度をもとに選択してください。受講者の総合的なスキルではなく、分野ごとの知識・スキルを判断基準としてください。

- Beginner（初級者向け）
    - その分野について事前知識がない場合でも、セッション内容を十分に理解できること。概要や導入の説明が十分にあること。
- Intermediate（中級者向け）
    - セッション内容を理解するにあたり、概要やチュートリアルなどを通じて基礎的な学習が必要であること。応用的な内容が含まれること。
- Advanced（上級者向け）
    - その分野について開発や業務などを通じた利用経験や前提知識がある人に向けた、応用的・発展的な内容で構成していること。

Outline/Structure（セッション内容）

- セッション概要は、できるだけ具体的に詳しい内容を記載してください。
- ネタバレ防止などの理由で詳細に書けない場合、「Presentation Requirements」に詳細を記載してください。
- セッション中に、過度な商用製品の告知や人材募集などを避けるようお願いいたします（宣伝を伴うセッションは、スポンサーとしての参加をご検討ください）

ステップアップセッションについて

ステップアップセッションは、おもに学生や新卒社員から、数年の経験を経て初心者から一歩抜け出したい方までを対象にしたセッションになります。  
Javaでシステム開発を行ううえで普遍的に役立つ基礎的な知識を、初心者にも分かりやすく解説してもらえるセッションを募集します。  

募集するテーマの例：  
- データ構造とコレクションフレームワーク  
- 例外の扱い方  
- 文字列のエンコード、デコード  
- メッセージ文字列の扱い方  
- 設定値の扱い方  
- パターンとリファクタリング  
- 契約による設計  
- ビルドツールの使い方  
- 単体テストの作り方  
- その他、Javaを使ってソフトウェア開発に関わる上で必要な基礎知識  

ステップアップセッションのCfPに応募する際は、セッションの種類の選択で「StepUp」を選んでください。  
※ステップアップセッションの選考基準は、先進性よりも基礎を重視します。

連絡方法

選考通過後、スピーカーの方への連絡はスピーカー用Slackで連絡を取らせていただきます。予めご了承ください。
- 複数のセッション案を提出された方は「Presentation Requirements」の欄に、最大でいくつのセッションに登壇できるかを記載してください（記載ない場合は1セッションのみと判断します）

システム上、最初はひとり3つまでしかProposalが投稿できません。4つ以上のProposalを提出したい方は、[email protected] までご連絡ください。
