Making your team great through the art of conversation
Conversation leads to relationships which create culture in teams. By engaging in the art of conversation, you can help your team to create relationships that help to form a powerful positive team culture. This is an interactive unconference that will enable attendees to generate ideas to improve their teams through conversation and practice using those ideas during the session.
Outline/Structure of the Interactive
This will be a hands on active unconference style presentation drawing on audience participation and knowledge to develop unique but similar content and experience in each delivery. Attendees will develop practical conversational tools that they can use to improve their team culture.
Session outline:
1. audience brainstorm to identify issues in forming great teams, with voting to identify top five issues.
2. a short briefing on the art of conversation with five minutes of practice between participants
3. Unconference for each of top five issues. Audience will self organise around each issue to identify ways to resolve through the conversation, and group ideas generated. (sticky notes, walls to be used)
4. Practicum - Audience will self organise around topics and practice the art of conversation with ideas generated.
5. Brief Retro
Learning Outcome
Attendees will take away practical conversational tools that they can use to improve their team culture.
