SpeakEasy is a tech conference diversity initiative. We are trying a pilot for using ConfEngine to help aspiring speakers to submit their proposals to Selenium Conf 2020 India.
Over its existence, SpeakEasy has been a significant contributor of new voices and high-quality content to international tech conferences, particularly in testing, quality and teamwork topics.
Levels
We use this ConfEngine conference as a place to generate talk proposals into a public SpeakEasy Portfolio. We want to make talk proposals from all three levels visible, while pairing SpeakEasy Speakers with 1:1 mentors into a longer term relationship. Having a portfolio enables conferences, Selenium Conference India 2020 as our first experimentation partner, to pull interesting talks we have prepared within this work space into their proposals by asking and you submitting with just a few clicks more.

Call for Proposals CLOSED
Ended on Dec 5 '19 12:00 AM EET
With the first experiment, we use this platform for helping generate high-quality proposals for Selenium Conference India. However, within the SpeakEasy playground, you can start submitting from just the idea, improving your proposal through this platform with your mentor and acceptance means it is ready for external considerations by the actual conferences.
Selenium Conference India is particularly interested in deep technical topics related to Selenium, open source and testing in general. Experiences around implementing continuous testing, techniques of not only implementing automation but ensuring it tests the right kinds of things and provides great and useful information are welcome. If this conference isn't the right place for your talk, you can still work your proposals ready for other conferences and creating them here is a step towards a public portfolio we want to build for SpeakEasy speakers on all levels.
All proposals here will be public. Accepted proposals are ready to be submitted elsewhere and we hope you take them to Selenium Conference India with a click of a button. You can expect that we are working towards accepting all proposals here within this space if possible.
Registered user will be able to comment on your proposal. You are encouraged to reply to those comments to provide clarifications, explain revisions and respond to questions. ´
To submit talk you created and had accepted here to Selenium Conference India or any other ConfEngine platform conference, you go to My Proposals, select the talk and click Clone and select the target conference.
Here's some material specific to Selenium Conference India that you may find useful:
Your proposal stands the best chance to be selected, if it's unique, fully flushed, ready-to-go. Please ensure you've read:
To encourage early submissions and iterative improvement of proposals, Selenium Conference India starts accepting proposals as soon as they find them a good fit. We ask to move things from here to the Selenium Conference India should you want to submit and your proposal here is accepted. Since competition gets tougher with progressing time, it is advisable to avoid waiting until the last minute for proposal submission.
