Integrating SCRUM Values and Delivery culture

Most people struggle with real-life scenarios that seem to make Agile look un-realistic and blame other people or processes for the failures.

I'll go through some of these most common scenarios - talking about what we do wrong and how we can overcome such challenges using SCRUM values.

To help my case - I will be taking 3 case studies that cover some frequently encountered scenarios and take a deep dive on how we can better respond to such situations and events.

Outline/Structure of the Talk

The topics in the slides are:

  2. Some Issues SCRUM Teams face
  3. Daily Tools to Use
  4. Avoid these Mistakes
  5. Case Study 1
  6. Case Study 2
  7. Case Study 3
  8. Q&A

Learning Outcome

The intent is that the audience is able to see a new perspective of responding to the same situations and attempt resolution using SCRUM values rather than assuming the process is inadequate to support real situations.

Target Audience

People Implementing SCRUM

Prerequisites for Attendees

People Implementing SCRUM would better benefit as they would be able to associate with the challenges and ask relevant questions too.

I think the submission could be improved by:

    • Please provide more details/Write up on the case studies because that is the crux of your presentation which is lacking for us a reviewer to know what are you planning to present.
    • Any Specific reason why there is a huge focus on Daily Standup ?
    • I see that the starting of the topic is with Scrum Values however later in the presentation i do not see linking these values with events , how to exhibit, who should exhibit which values etc?
