Building a Lean Portfolio Management Practice
Making prioritization and investment decisions is challenging at best and those challenges only get larger at scale. Millions of dollars and competitiveness are at stake. Without a disciplined approach results are less valuable and don’t scale.
This session will focus on the evolutional journey of portfolio management practices at E*TRADE Advisor Services. The session will focus on the techniques used including value stream mapping, idea intake, cost of delay, The Lean Startup, and the art of change management. Results included an engaged leadership team, increasingly valuable discussions based more on economics than emotion, a means to compare unlike work, and extension across a large engineering organization.

This will be a slide based presentation with time set aside for Q&A and discussion.

Prerequisites for Attendees
Attendees should have several years of real world experience working in any organization that struggles with the disciplines around portfolio management. Typically, this would include those who have, or are looking to transisiton from team level to enterprise coaching.
