Development and Treatment of the Trauma Bond in Victims of Sex Trafficking: Neurobiological bases and Treatment Strategies

Forensic neuropsychological advances will be discussed and presented during this 45-minute presentation and discussed in terms of the cutting edge state of the art research. Attendees will learn treatment strategies that work based on the neuropsychological underpinnings of trauma specific to victims of sex trafficking.

2. Describe three key aspects of the Trauma bond

3. Identify four treatment strategies that can be used in treating victims of human trafficking

4. Recognize the trauma bond and severity in their patients/clients.
