    Abstract:

Attention! Leadership, front and center. Do you want to build high-performing teams that blow away the competition? What better way to learn than to see how the Marine Corps does it.

Not only does the Marine Corps spent 13-weeks making Marines, they do this by starting with leadership and core values, tactical excellence and then a final evaluation called the Crucible. Find out how you can take this approach of driving culture and leadership and core values in 96 days to your organization a create a shared understanding of the purpose.

It doesn't stop there, once you have Marines you need to create high-performing teams. Walk with Andy through the journey of taking Marines and creating high-performing teams. The Marine Corps starts with establishing a shared Culture within every Marine, and then builds leadership, and understanding of commander's intent, mastering tactics, and tactical excellence into every team. The Marine Corps leadership philosophy is, "Centralized Planning, decentralized execution."

Join Andy in a discussion to explore how the Marine Corps uses these attributes to build high performing teams in your organization.

    Information for Program Team:

Each of the sub-sections of section 3 will incorporate discussion with the tables to talk about how this Marine approach fits within their environment. The goal is to help everyone discover that building high-performing teams aren't difficult if you start with culture, and maintain that culture.
