  • helpHow to become a sponsor?

    • Click on the Sponsor button present on the left menu of the conference page.

    • You will be taken to the conference sponsor page. Click on Sponsor Guide.

    • On click of Sponsor Guide link, you will be shown the Sponsor Guide that's created by Organiser.
      • A sponsor guide educates a potential sponsor about various sponsor levels, the investment required and benefits accrued by participating in the conference.
      • It educates the sponsor about the various tasks they will have to perform to successfully engaging in the conference.
      • The sponsor guide also has links to the sponsorship application page.
      After finding the appropriate sponsor level, click on it's Apply button and you will be redirected to Sponsorship Application page.
    • At Sponsorship Application page, you can either select a past sponsor company from the list or create a new one.

    • If you select option to create new sponsor company, then you will be redirected to create a new sponsor company. On saving the form, you will be redirected to add a sponsor page, with the newly created sponsor as selected.
    • Else, if you select a past sponsor company from the list, then a form will be displayed for application of sponsorship.
    • Once finished click on to apply for the sponsorship.
      Note: We will let the sponsor team know once your sponsorship is taken live via email notification.
  • helpHow to edit details of a sponsorship?

    There are two ways for a sponsor to edit their details.

    Method 1
    • Click on the user drop down button, present at the top-right corner.
    • From the drop down,
      select My Sponsorships
    • You wil be redirected to a page with your sponsors.
    • Click on sponsor you wish to edit.
    • You will be taken to sponsor application page with editable fields.
    • Update the details and click on to save the changes.
    Method 2
    • Click on the Sponsor button present on the left menu of the conference page.
    • You will be taken to the sponsors' page where all the active sponsors are shown.
    • Click on the particular sponsor card you want to edit.
    • Once you are in the sponsor page, click on to edit the sponsor details.
    • You will be taken to sponsor application page with editable fields.
    • Update the details and click on to save the changes.
  • helpWho can edit sponsor company details?

    • Once a sponsor company is created, the user who created it becomes the owner of the sponsor company. The owner can edit the sponsor company details anytime.
    • The sponsor team members can edit the sponsor companies details only if their sponsorship is live for any specific event. Else, they need to wait for sponsor to be live.
    • The program committee can edit any sponsor company details.
  • helpHow to add my team members as sponsor?

    • Once you are on the edit sponsorship screen (see the previous answer)
    • Scroll to the Sponsor Team section
    • If your team members already have an account on ConfEngine, you can select their id from the list
    • If they don't have an account on ConfEngine, you can click on the "Add User" button and add them.
    • Click on Save Details button.
  • helpHow to add logo for a sponsor?

    • Sponsor's logo can be added initially while adding the sponsor or while editing sponsor details.
    • While adding or editing a sponsor scroll down to Add Logo section and click on
    • A dialogue box will appear, choose the source of the logo image.
      Logo can be uploaded from URL or your file system. After file upload click on to save the logo details.
  • helpWhat are the different task status?

    • For sponsor tasks, a task can be any of the four statuses - new, in progress, submitted, completed.
    • When a task is created it's status is new.
    • Task can be marked as in progress, submitted by the sponsor as well as the conference program chair.
    • Whereas, only conference program chair can mark task as completed.
    • New status is represented as

  • helpHow to manage sponsor tasks?

    There are two ways for a sponsor to manage their tasks.

    Method 1
    • Click on the user drop down button, present at the top-right corner.
    • From the drop down,
      select My Sponsorships
    • You wil be redirected to a page with your sponsors.
    • Click on toc Sponsor tasks to go to the sponsor task of that sponsor.
    Method 2
    • Click on the Sponsor button present on the left menu at the conference page.
    • You will be taken to the sponsors' page where all the active sponsors are shown.
    • Click on your sponsor card.
    • To see sponsor tasks, click on button, present on your sponsor page.

    Note: a reminder through an email notification will be sent to your registered email address if the tasks are not completed within the specified Due Date.

  • helpHow to mark sponsor task as in progress/submitted?

    • Go to the Sponsor Tasks page for your sponsor.
    • To mark a task as in progress, task should be in new status. On click of task will be marked as in progress.
    • To mark a task as submitted, task should be in in progress status. On click of task will be marked as submitted.
    • A pop-up appears for the confirmation. Click on to proceed the operation.
    • Note: An email and web notification will be sent to the sponsors on specified reminder date, if the tasks are not submitted before due date.
  • helpHow to post updates to attendees?

      If you are not at your Sponsor page -
    • Click on the Sponsor button present on the left menu at the conference page.
    • You will be taken to the sponsors' page where all the active sponsors are shown.
    • Click on your sponsor card. This will take you to the sponsor page.
    • If you are already at your Sponsor page -
    • Enter the message update inside the POST AN UPDATE text area.
    • You can also broadcast the message update to the current day attendees by checking the checkbox next to Broadcast.
    • To post an update, click on Post Update send
    • Note:
      1. Broadcasting a message update will send mobile notification to the current day attendees and it will also show on your sponsor page.
      2. All the post updates are shown at your sponsor page.
      3. Each sponsor has a defined broadcasting limit, exhausting to which Sponsor will not be broadcast any further message updates.
      4. Sponsor can post updates irrespective of the broadcast limit.
