Aaron Vadakkan, CSP, is a 16-year-old who currently studies in 11th grade at Grandview High School.
He is also an expert on “Scrum at Home” which is the topic he has presented three times at
global and regional gatherings. Ratings show that he was the highest rated speaker at Mile-High
Agile. He has written an article about the topic, which has been published on Scrum Alliance. It

Imagine a typical weekday evening. The dog isn’t fed, the dishes aren’t put away, and the parents are irritated. What if there was another way to do daily tasks like chores and homework? A way that would eliminate these age-old problems: Scrum! Scrum motivates us to do more by empowering us to plan and choose our work. Join me to learn about our experience using Scrum at home. In the talk, I’ll be explaining the benefits of using Scrum at home through my personal stories and experiences. For example, a story is how I got saved at school because I was using a Scrum board. Another story is about how a definition of done helps us to finish our work and stay out of trouble. The second topic is about how I used Scrum with a leadership team at school. The team is responsible for planning and executing things like chapter meetings, a school-wide Craft Fair, and running a school clothing store.
