Ashish Mishra has over 21 years of experience in software testing, development, corporate consulting and public domain training spanning countries like USA, UK, Germany, Denmark, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile and India.  Over the period he has worked on number of projects as Account Manager, Test Manager, Programmer and Tester. His core expertise lies in Agile Testing, Test Automation and Test Management.  He has been an early adopter of Agile, practicing XP and Lean development since 1996.

Ashish Mishra is the founder director of QAAgility Technologies. Prior to founding QAAgility, he has been the Account Head in the independent testing group (IV&V-Independent Verification & Validation) for Barclays Bank at L&T Infotech with focus on the emerging markets territory for GRCB (Global Retail & Commercial Banking) and grew the account from 9 member team to over 145. In this role he led the testing teams to prepare Test strategies, plans and estimation for mission critical projects for the client. He also has experience in banking & finance related technologies in various capacities with leading companies.  He has also worked with IBM, New York and JP Morgan Chase New York, Hong Kong and Mumbai offices in the areas of application development, quality assurance and testing in the Global Investment Banking group. He worked with the QWG (Quality Working Group) for over a period of 13 months to achieve CMMi certification for JPMorgan, GSC (Global Service Centre), Mumbai.

He belongs to the group of respectable innovators in the area of processes consulting & automation testing. He is the steering committee founder member of the Agile Testing Alliance (ATA) and Indian Testing Board (ITB). He has designed the curriculums for CP-MAT, CP-AAT and CP-SAT certification courses for ATA. He is an active blogger and frequent speaker in technology conferences, he has ability to nurture and grow the breakthrough ideas and mentor new talents; his articles are published on Agile Atlas. He has consulted and coached for companies like Barclays, JPMorgan, Deloitte, HSBC, Wells Fargo, Polaris, Datamatics, MindTree, Ness Technologies, Persistent, iGatePatni and L&T Infotech besides running several workshops in the public domain. He is the creator of KAGA (Keep Automation Going Agile) Mobile test automation framework.

He holds Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from B.A. Marathwada University, India. He also holds PG Certificate in Business Management from City University of NY (CUNY). Ashish is published author of the book "A Practitioner's Guide To Test Automation Using Selenium" by Tata McGraw-Hill.
