Harendra has been architecting and building scalable software systems for past two decades, in several domains, ranging from mobile networks/protocols, embedded systems, large scale web proxies/accelerators and more recently file systems. He has published a number of papers on resiliency and repair of file systems. For past several years he has been working on the Haskell programming language, finding and promoting ways to do maintainable, composable, and high performance programming at scale. He has founded a small research lab, Composewell Technologies, for that end. He has written a few Haskell packages, the most notable being "streamly" a high performance concurrent streaming library, and "unicode-transforms" a unicode normalization library.
