I am an Innovative Maker, Engineer, Researcher, Healthcare Hacker and an Aspiring Social Entrepreneur; my expertise lies in identifying problems, conceiving ideas to solve it and transforming the idea into a minimum viable product with my rapid prototyping and team building skills.
I am a subject-matter-expert for Machine Learning and Deep Learning at CITI and the technical lead of ML/AI governance committee of CITI India. I am experienced in leveraging ML/DL techniques to deliver consumer-centric products and lead a portfolio of innovative projects leveraging ML/DL at CITI.
I have led multiple research projects of MIT Media Lab's Camera Culture group; one of which was WAND (Wound Analysis Device) to take images of wound and predict it's healing rate; I successfully led the team, called EpoCare until incorporation and exited (http://epocare.in/).
I have been a keynote speaker at multiple Google DevFests, TensorFlow Viewing Party, Developer Weekend and have won 11 hackathons till date. I part of Intel's Software Innovator Program and my work primarily focuses on optimizing and running ML/DL models on the edge. I am also the founding member and ML/DL Consultant at AgnosTech Innovations (https://agnostech.in/).
I have been also appointed by Inter Institutional Inclusive Innovations Centre (i4c) committee, Government of India as a Healthcare Industry Expert & Evaluator for Smart India Hackathon (https://sih.gov.in/).
My motto in life is - "To become a better human being and help others" and I am passionate about building affordable medical diagnostic & screening devices, assistive and AAC (Alternative & Augmentative Communication) devices.
I am the Innovator of Dhvani, an AAC device for paralytics to help them communicate with people around them, and have received multiple national and international awards and recognition for it. I am also a regular contributor (as a judge, keynote speaker, mentor and guest) to open source and community driven events. I strongly believe that problem solving is an art that can only be mastered with creativity and I focus on empowering the fellow artists in my teams as much as I focus on the piece of scientific art being developed.
