I joined Thoughtworks as a Quality Analyst and have an overall experience of about 16 years doing various roles as QA, Lead/Program QA, Agile Coach, XP Champion, Advisory (tools and process), Trainer and Mentor. I am passionate about Agile and Lean principles and delivering high quality solutions. I also have experience in creating test strategy for agile at scale and hands on experience on different technologies for creating automation framework and CI pipelines.
More recently I was in an advisory role of a leading retail company and an Agile coach for a leading insurance product company who were beginning their transformation phase. I have also played XP champion and mentoring and training roles.
I have worked in various TW offices across countries in various Enterprise scale engagements including Retail, Finance, Publishing, Printing, Management Consulting, Insurance and more recently Exhibitions. I have been working with software delivery teams, using Agile and Lean principles to help his clients deliver value to their customers earlier and repeatedly.

We were part of an engagement with a client who wanted to transform themselves from legacy ways of working and tools to being Agile in terms of tech and business. We had a limited in resources, be it time, people and scope. It was a humongous task and we couldn't get overwhelmed with what we had in hand.
We had to stick to the basics and focus on the principles of XP rather than bogged down by getting into the immense number of rituals and practices and see where it takes us. And apparently we gained the trust of the clients in 3 months and we where able to get subsequent work.

How an API helped me change my Perspective of FAILING

I was a Program QA(handling multiple streams) back in 2019 and we were about to rollout our features to a new BU. This BU was strict and we were expected to release without any hassle or problem (as always), and the PO was too serious and pushing hard for it. Tomorrow was the release and everything was going on extremely well and as planned until I triggered an API. And as expected all hell broke loose.
I am planning to talk about the aftermath. How we took care of it and handled the situation. How I and my team communicated it internally and to the clients. How clients handled it. What precautions and safety nets we put in, of-course after we fixed it. How my reviews went. And most importantly how the perspective about failing changed in me.
