John McLoughlin has a background in both software engineering and systems engineering, with over 15 years of experience applying and teaching Lean/Agile/DevOps concepts across a variety of organizations, programs, projects, and domains. Within Lockheed Martin, he has functioned as a developer, tester, software architect, systems engineer, product owner, scrum master, release train engineer, and Lean/Agile/DevOps coach. John led Lockheed Martin’s Corporate initiative for the advancement of Agile and related practices, where he oversaw a team of internal Agilists, coaches, and trainers chartered with providing Agile support across the entire corporation. He has experience applying Agile principles and techniques at the team level as well as at scale and frequently works with senior leaders to help create environments conducive to increased success with Lean/Agile/DevOps practices. John is particularly interested in furthering the application of Agile practices to domains and activities beyond software development, to include systems engineering, hardware engineering, and service provisioning (both business and technical services). John has a master’s degree in Software Engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in in Systems Engineering from George Washington University.
