I have been in the human trafficking awareness field for 4 years. Throughout those years, I have educated over 5, 000 foster care youth ages 13 through 23 and have conducted over 500 trainings for foster care providers, state agency staff members, foster care parents, teachers and school officials, community partners and members, etc. throughout the state of South Carolina. The presentation topics that I focus on are general education of human trafficking, prevention and awareness tools for businesses, churches, etc. innovative ways to create community engagement and involvement in the prevention of human trafficking. I have been a guest presenter at the Palmetto Association for Children and Families (PAFCAF), I have been a guest panelist on a community documentary film review panel to discuss the effects of human trafficking within the community. I have developed and organized community outreach efforts through programming for local communities and school-aged and college-aged youth. I work a proclamation for Human Trafficking Awareness month for the capital city of the state. I have assisted in developing curriculum for community and school programming for the education of human trafficking.
