Khali Young works as an independent consultant, coach, facilitator and trainer, currently working as an Agile Coach at Optus. He helps leaders, teams and organisations create transformational change to drive kick-arse results in ways that are more meaningful, sustainable and authentic. Khali has spent the last 10+ years working in high performing Agile teams in pretty much any capacity you can think of across a range of industries and business sizes. He has played roles including software developer, business analyst, scrum master, project manager, product manager, trainer, coach and consultant. The majority of his experience is in enterprises but he has also worked in startups and SMBs within sectors spanning financial services, telecommunications, media, online dating and biomedical technology. He has largely worked in the digital space.
Khali also runs Authentic Sydney, an organisation dedicated to creating community and space for authentic expression and human connection. As part of this he teaches a relational meditation practice called “circling”. Khali is dedicated to stewarding the leading edges of individual and collective human development in service of human flourishing. He combines Agile/Lean with Integral Theory, psychology, neuroscience, narrative, authentic communication and non-verbal approaches. He has been a human potential geek since stumbling upon meditation and self-development in his teens.
