I have worked in the Industry in a wide variety of technologies ranging from Performance Modeling of processors to providing architectural vision for scale out for an enterprise application. I have had the fortune of working with some very talented engineers and learning from them. I have worked across geographical boundaries working as an engineer and when managing teams.
I am currently teaching at a University and consulting with the Industry.

Data has grown exponentially in the last few years and to generate an insight from this data requires processing of voluminous amounts of data. Processing data on traditional hardware has its limitations and we are seeing the emergence of different types of accelerators to address these limitations. In this talk we will look at alternate hardware and programming models that are becoming popular and the challenges to the Eclipse community.
