Mr. Harris brings 30 years of broad management experience in the IT field, including periods in R&D, development, production, business and academia.

Before becoming President, CEO and majority owner of DCG at the start of 2006, Mr. Harris was a key executive at Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE: FIS). At FIS, Mr. Harris led Channels Development and Operations Services within the Leveraged Products Development Group. Prior to FIS, Mr. Harris was President of the Banking Solutions Division at Sanchez Computer Associates (NASDAQ: SCAI). Under his leadership, the software development team at Sanchez achieved significant quality and delivery improvements, culminating in the achievement of CMM® Level 3 in only 15 months and the establishment of an offshore development team in India. While at Sanchez, Mike was a DCG client!  Yes, “He liked it so much, he bought the company.”

Mr. Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering from the University of Southampton, England and a Master of Science degree in computer-aided engineering from Coventry University, England. He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK), and a member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (USA). He was certified as an IT-CMF Associate in 2011 and became a Certified Scrum Master in 2014.

Mr. Harris, along with David Herron and Stasia Iwanicki, is the author of “The Business Value of IT: Managing Risks, Optimizing Performance, and Measuring Results,” published by CRC Press.
