I am a Principal at The MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centers for the federal government. I am also an adjunct professor of management at George Mason University and the founder of Visiontelligence LLC.
I am a former professor at Carnegie Mellon University and The American University and have authored more than 35 articles on leadership, motivation, and workforce assessment, including Build a Better Vision Statement (2016, Lexington Books).
I am a former President of the International Society for Performance Improvement’s Potomac Chapter. I hold certifications as a Human Capital Strategist, in the Kirkpatrick Four Levels of Evaluation, and in Human Synergistics’ Impact and Organizational Culture Inventory Assessments.
My PhD is in Organizational Behavior from the University of Maryland at College Park, and my BS is from Bowling Green State University.
I live in Vienna, Virginia with my husband, two sons, and three dogs. In my free time, I practice and teach taekwondo, in which I am a 4th degree black belt.
