After being a full time trainer & coach for 5 years, I was bored with everyone talking (about innovation&startup but without action). Since 2014, I started a new journey. I co-founded G2Rail.com (XMove App) which is an oversea railway & bus booking service consolidator. G2Rail now support booking railway and bus tickets in 52 countries and 28 languages. In addition to to-c market, G2Rail provides data services to in to-B market including biggest traveler players such as CTrip, Alibaba, Huawei HMS OS in China, Lion Travel and KKDay in Taiwan, Myrealtrip in South Korea and 12Go in South East Asia.
Daniel Teng is one of the key Connector of agile community. He organises conferences, regular meet-ups, gives talks, writes articles and blogs. Daniel is a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) and Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). He teaches CSM & CSPO courses in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam and Thailand. He has supported organisations such as GE Healthcare, ICBC Bank, PingAn Bank, SAP, Baidu, Autodesk, Dianping.com in their agile transition. As advisor of Scrum Alliance Coaching Retreat in APAC, Daniel is building network of experienced agile coaches. Daniel is also chair and organisers of other conferences such as QCon, AHA Conference, Scrum Gatherings.

The product teams include members with software, electrical and mechanical background. I will share how the transition get started, what are the phases during the journey, what are the main problems we try to address and what we did to achieve significant success.

We are going to share a case study of how we kick start a LeSS (Large Scaled Scrum) agile transition in FDA (Food & Drugs Administration) regulated organization. The product is a surgery X-Ray machine and the team include software engineer, mechanical engineer, electronical engineer. After one year journey, the product get shipped within one year comparing to 2.5 years of previous version. No bug was found after shipping the product so far and the build time reduced from 20+ hrs to 2.8 secs. What made these happen? One of the biggest challenges is how to enable cross-functional and self-managing team and to make it more challenging, everyone had to choose their role and teams. In this talk, I am going to share with you how we official launched the change and how we as agile coaches support in their agile journey.
