Daniel Teng is one of the key Connector of agile community. He organizes conferences, regular meet-ups, gives talks, writes articles and blogs. Daniel is a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach and Certified Scrum Trainer. He gives CSM & CSPO courses and help organizations such as GE Healthcare, ICBC, PingAn, SAP, Baidu, Autodesk, Dianping.com in their agile transition. As board member of agile tour, he supported 20+ cities hold their local activities in APAC region. More than 100 volunteers were engaged in the organization, which became the main drive of agile development in China. As advisor of Scrum Alliance Coaching Retreat in APAC, Daniel is building network of experienced agile coaches. Daniel is also chair and organizers of other conferences such as QCon, AHA Conference, Scrum Gatherings.
Daniel is also a Maven of new ideas and concepts. He has strong passion to guide team to realize their potential and discover different way of working. By giving talks, leading workshops, facilitating games, working closely with software teams as a coach, Daniel influenced the change of many organizations and individuals in China. The talks, workshops and games, even discussion became an eye opener for many clients, audiences. They got to know many Unknown Unknowns. Their internal fire was kindled. Many of them became active community contributors, agile practitioners, speakers, organizers. Just as one contributor commented recently, "I want to use two words to describe my feeling - ‘Shocked (震撼)’ and ‘Enlightened (启迪)’.
Daniel is an agile Salesman. Daniel believes in learning by doing strongly and lead by example. He is deeply embedded in transition of large organizations. He works close with management, team and provides them direct support, guidance and timely feedback. By applying agile in their context, team improved their understanding of agile values and principles, they abandoned typical cargo cult agile implementation, thus starts their journey towards excellence.
