Walther R. Wroblewski

Wroblewski (a.k.a. Rob) is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Currently he is a senior engineer at Sabre Systems Inc. supporting Department of the Navy (DoN) acquisition programs. Previously, as Program Manager for Arxan Defense Inc. (ADI), Rob led the scrum masters assigned to facilitate Agile software development (SW) teams developing SW for major DOD prime contractors.

Rob completed a 30-year career in the United States Army (and Army Reserve). He commanded nuclear artillery units at the Battery and the Battalion-level. His assignments included, serving overseas in the, then Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) as well as serving with the 82nd Airborne Division, at Ft. Bragg, NC. Assigned as the Deputy Inspector General at the 86th Army Reserve Command, Rob provided management consulting services for the 2-star Commanding General and his staff. Rob’s last assignment was Exercise Director in a Simulation Exercise Group responsible for conducting Battle Command and Staff Training (BCST) exercises for client Army National Guard Field Artillery Brigades. He facilitated After Action Reviews (AAR’s) to assess unit performance. During his career, Rob completed the Army’s Airborne, Ranger, and Command and General Staff College courses. He retired as a Colonel (USAR).

Rob has taught classes at the baccalaureate and graduate level in leadership, business statistics and project management. He has conducted leadership seminars, teambuilding seminars and project management seminars. He is a regular presenter at the PMI Chapter of Central Indiana’s annual Professional Development Day (‘12, ’13 & ’14). Rob has been a guest speaker at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, and Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
